Charlotte Mae Holmes is an Artist and Art therapist trained at Central Saint Martins and Leeds College of Art, two of the UK’s most respected art institutions. She is currently based in Mallorca.

Her artistic practice is deeply rooted in lived experience and human connection. She approaches art not as an isolated object, but as an interactive space — one that becomes activated through the presence and participation of the viewer.

Many of her works function as a personal diary translated into thread and material: fragments of memory, emotion, and experience made visible. Through interaction — whether physical, emotional, or reflective — her pieces invite the audience to connect not only with the artwork, but with her own story, and in turn, with their own.

Working primarily with embroidery and bespoke original pieces, Charlotte explores slowness, gesture, and the intimacy of handcraft as acts of presence. Bridging artistic and therapeutic sensibilities, her work positions art as an accessible language — one capable of fostering connection, care, and quiet transformation.
